Equivalent weights of two metals A and B...

Equivalent weights of two metals A and B are same , but atomic mass of A is 1.5 times of that of B . How can you explain this ?

Let for B metal equivbalent weight is E, valency `V_(B)` and atomic mass x. for A metal equivalent weight is E,valency `V_(A)` and atomic mass= 1.5 x
`therefore` For A metal, `E=(1.5 x)/(V_A)` and for B metal, `E=x/(V_B)`
`therefore (1.5x)/(V_A)=(x)/(V_B) or, (V_A)/(V_B)=1.5 or, V_A = 1.5 V_B`
