For a reaction` A+BrarrC` , the rate doubles if the concentration of A is doubled by holding the concentration of B constant. But the rate remains the same if the concentration of B is made twice by keeping the concentration of A fixed. Write the rate law for the reaction.

As the doubles on making the concentration of A twice and it remains the same on making concentration of B double , the reaction , the reaction is first order with respect to A and zero order with respect to B.
Thus, the rate law for the reaction is rate, `k[A][B]^(0)=k[A]`
