Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`KrF_(2)` is the only known halide of krypton. It can be prepared by passing an electric discharge through a mixture of Kr and `F_(2)` at low pressure in a U-tube immersed in liquid `O_(2)`
`Kr(g)+F_(2)(g)toKrF_(2)(g),DeltaH^(0)=+63kJcdotmol^(-1)`
