In case of body -centered unit cell, the relation between the edge length (a) of the unit cell and the radius (r) of its particle is , `a=(4r)/(sqrt3), as r=124.3` pm
`a=(4xx124.3)/(sqrt3) = 287.06` pm=`287.06 xx10^(-10)cm`
We know, `rho = (ZxxM)/(Nxxa^(3))`
In case of body centered cubic unit cell , z=2
Given , M=52
`therefore rho=(2xx52)/(6.022xx10^(23)xx(287.06xx10^(-10)^(3))g.cm^(-3)`
therefore, the density of chromium metal
