Two supplementary angles are in the ratio 2:3. Find the angles.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Let the measure of two angles be `2x^@` and `3x^@`
Sum of two supplementary angles `=180^@`
`(2x+3x)^@=180^@`
`5x=180°`
`x=36^@`
Required angles:
`2x=2xx36^@=72^@`
`3x=3xx36^@=108^@`
