Carolus Linnaeus (1707-1778), a Swedish botanist is regarded as Father of Plant Taxomomy. He published his work in book Genera plantarum in (1737). Other two botanist are G Bentham and Joseph Dalton Hooker. Both are famous for their work on classification of plants based on natural characteristics.
