Byrophyta is a groupp of plants which have gametophytic thalloid body. The motile male gamete are produced in special male reproductive structrue called antheridia .
These gametes need thin film of water to move and reach to the female reproductive organ called archegonia. Wrhereas pteriodophytes, gymnosperm and monocots show division of labour and theire body shows higher level of organisation.
