When resistance `100 Omega` is connected in series `i=V/(100+R)`………(i)
When resistance of `100Omega` is connected in series, then its range is double `i=(2V)/(1100+R)`…………(ii)
On solving (i) & (ii) ,we get `R=900 Omega`
