From a right circular cylinder with height 10cm and radius of base 6cm, a right circular cone of the same height and base is removed. Find the volume of the remaining solid.

Radius of the base`=6cm`
Volume of the remaining solid`=`Volume of the cylinder`-`volume of the cone
Volume of remaining solid`=(pir^2h)−1/3pir^2h`
`=(pixx6^2xx10−1/3xxpixx6^2×10)cm^3`
`=(360pi−120pi)cm^3`
`=240picm^3`
`=240xx22/7cm^3`
`=754.28cm^3`
Hence, the volume of the remaining solid is `754.28cm^3`.
