A sector of `56^0` cut out from a circle contains area `4. 4 c m^2dot` Find the radius of the circle

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Given :` theta=56^0 `and area of sector `=4.4cm^2 `
Area of sector = `(theta/(360)^0) xx pi xx r^2`
`:. 4.4 = (56^0/(360^0)) xx (22/7) xx r^2`
`:. r^2 = (4.4 xx 45)/(22)`
`:. r^2 = 9`
`:. r=3`
therefore, radius =3 cm
