In auto catalysis, one of the products of the reaction acts as catalyst. In the titration of oxalic acid solution with `KM_4` solution in the presence of dilute `H_2S_4C` the colour of KMnO4 fades slowly and then faster due to the formation of `Mn^(2+)` ions which acts as auto catalyst :
