Prove that there is a value of `c(!=0)` for which the system `6x+3y=c-3` `12 x+c y=c` has infinitely many solutions. Find this value.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

For the system to have infinitely many solutions, lines must coincide each other
or,ratio of respective coefficients must be equal (x, y and constant coefficients)
so,`6/12=3/c=(c−3)/c`
