Conc. `HNO_3` can be transported in aluminium container.

Conc. `HNO_3` can be transported in aluminium container : Concentrated nitric acid renders the aluminium passive by forming a protective oxide layer on the surface. So aluminium do not react with concentrated nitric acid. Thus the aluminium containers can be used to carry concentrated nitric acid.
