Is there any change in hybridisation of ...

Is there any change in hybridisation of the `B` and `N` atom as a result of the following reaction?
`BF_(3)+NH_(3)rarr F_(3)B.NH_(3)`

Text Solution

In `BF_(3)` hybridization of B is `sp^(2).` In `NH_(3)` hybridization of N is `sp^(3).` But after the reaction hybridation of B changes from `sp^(2)` to `sp^(3)` but hybridization of N remains the same, i.e., `sp^(3).`
