(i) Vermicompost is a manure rich in pulversed organic matter and nutrients. Vermicompost is prepared by using earthworms to hasten the process decomposition of plants and animals refuses. Earthworm is physically is an aerator, crusher and mixer, chemically a degrader and biological stimulator of decomposition. Most common specids of earthworm used for decomposition are Dichogaster bolani.
(ii) Green manure is prepared by decomposition of green plants in field itself . If helps in enriching the soil in nitrogen and phosphorus. Organic matter for improving hydration. aeration and word structure of soil. It provides protection and allowed to decompose in the field for the preparation of green manure.
(iii) Biofertiliser are living organism used as fertiliser to supply the nutrients to crop plants e.g., nitrogen fixing blue green algae, nitrogen fixing bacteria, which fix atmospheric nitrogen in soil rice fields are called as biofertiliser.
