AB is a current-carrying conductor in the plane of the paper as shown in figure. What are the directions of magnetic fields produced by it at point P and Q? Given `r_1gtr_2`, where will the strength of the magnetic field be larger?

In the given figure, the current carrying conductor AB is in the plane of the paper. Thus, the direction of magnetic field is into the plane of the paper at P and Q. The magnitude of magnetic field B is inversely proportional to distance r
i.e., `" " Bprop(1)/(r)`
Magnetic field B is stonger near the conduct at at Q at P as `r_(1) gt r_(2)`.
