The length, breadth and mass of two bar ...

The length, breadth and mass of two bar magnets are same but their magnetic moments are 3M and 2M respectively. These are joined pole to pole and are suspended by a string. When oscillated in a magnetic field of strength B, the time period obtained is 5s. If the poles of either of the magnets are reverse then the time period of the combination in the same magnetic field will be –

A

`3sqrt(3)s`

B

`2sqrt(2)s`

C

`5sqrt(5)s`

D

`1s`

`T=2pisqrt((I)/(MB))orTprop(1)/(sqrt(M))`
`(T_(1))/(T_(2))=sqrt((3M-2M)/(3M+2M))orT_(2)=5sqrt(5)s`

Two bar magnets of the same length and breadth but having magnetic moments M and 2M are joined with like poles together and suspended by a string. The time of oscillation of this assembly in a magnetic field of strength B is 3 sec. What will be the period of oscillation, if the polarity of one of the magnets is changed and the combination is agnain made to oscillate in the same field ?

The magnetic moments of two bar magnets of same size are in the ratio 1:2. When they are placed one over the other with their similar poles together, then their perlod of oscillation in a magnetic field is 3s. If one of the magnets is reversed, then the period of oscillation in the same field will be q

A bar magnet suspended freely in a uniform magnetic field is vibrating with a time period of 3s. If the field strength is increased to 4 times of the earlier field strength, then the time period (in second) will be

Two bar magnets having same geometry with magnetic moments M and 2M, are firstly placed in such a way what their similar poles are same side then its time period of oscillation is T_1 . Now the polarity of one of the magnet is reversed then time period of oscillation will be:-
