Given `sintheta=(3)/(5)`. Find all the other T-rations, if `theta` lies in the first quadrant.

Text Solution

In `DeltaOMP, sin theta=3/5`
so `MP=3` and `OP=5`
`:.OM=sqrt((5)^(2)-(3)^(2))`
`=sqrt(25-9)=sqrt(16)=4`
Now, `cos theta= (OM)/(OP)=4/5`
`tan theta=(MP)/(OM)=3/4`
`cot theta=(OM)/(MP)=4/3`
`sec theta= (OP)/(OM)=5/4`
`cosec theta= (OP)/(MP)=5/3`
