`x=(-5pm sqrt((5)^(2)-4xx2xx(-12)))/(2xx2)`
`=(-5 pm sqrt(121))/(4)=(-5 pm 11)/(4)= (+6)/(4), (-16)/(4)`
or `x=3/2, -4`
