The velocity of particle after time t will be
v = u + at = 0 + at = at
Now for next t sec, it will be the initial velocity,
From '' s = u't + ` (1//2) "at^(2) ` '' , we have
` rarr x' = (at) t + (1//2) " at"^(2)` [Here u' = at]
` x' = 3//2 " at"^(2)` ...(A)
This is the distance travelled in next t sec Also given that particle travels x distance in t sec. so again using `s = ut + (1/2) at^(2)`
We have , ` x = 1/2 "at"^(2) ` ...(B)
From (A) & (B), we have x = 3x
Hence correct answer is (B)
