We know that `v = sqrt(((gammaP)/(d))) = sqrt(((gammaRT)/(M)))`
According to the given problem,
`gamma = 1.30, R = 8.3 xx 10^(3) J/Kg mol K`,
and `T = - 130 ^(@)C` = - 130 + 273 = 143 K
M = Molecular weight of methane `(CH_(4))`
= 12+ 4 = 16
Hence = `v = sqrt(((1.3 xx 8.3 xx 10^(3) xx 143)/16))`
= 311 m/s
