If the line drawn from `(4,-1,2)` meets a plane at right angles at the point `(-10 ,5,4),` find the equation of the plane.

Text Solution

since line is passing through points `(4,-1,2` and `)(-10,5,4)`
so `E q^{n}` of the given line is
`frac{x-4}{-10-4}=frac{y+1}{5+1}=frac{z-2}{4-2} `
`=frac{x-4}{-14}=frac{y-1}{6}=frac{z-2}{2}`
Equation of plane passing through `(-10,5,4)` is
`A(x+10)+B(y-5)+C(z-4)=0` ...
