Give two differences between food chain and food web.

(i) A food chain contains a few organisms feeding on one another whereas a food web contains a large number of organisms in the form of interconnected food chains (ii) In a food chain, the organism at higher trophic levels feeds only upon a single organisms of the lower trophic level but in a food web, the organism at higher trophic levels can feed upon organisms of the lower trophic levels of many food chains
