Explanation

In our region, the source of water is a river flowing through the city and some tube-wells dug at various places in the area. The river water and tube-well water is supplied to the homes through taps after suitable treatment. Though water from these sources is available to all the people living in this area but it is not available in sufficient quantity everywhere. There is usually some shortage of water which becomes very severe during hot summer season. Some villages on the outskirts of the city also obtain their water supply directly from the wells.
