(i) Purchases Book has been undercast by Rs. 100 means that Purchases Account has been short debited by Rs. 100, Purchases Account should receive another debit of Rs. 100 since it was debited short previously.

(ii) Due to this error, the Returns Inward Account has been posted short, i.e., short debited by Rs. 50, the correct entry will be:
''To Undercasting of Returns Inward Book for the month of ..... Rs. 50''.

(iii) Omission of debit to the Depreciation Account will be rectified by the entry in the debit side:
''To Omission of posting on..... Rs. 250''.
(iv) Excess debit will be rectified by a credit in the Stationary Account as: ''By Double posting on...... Rs. 75''.
(v) Due to this error, Hari is short debited by Rs. 36. The correct entry is:
''To Difference in amount posted on..... Rs. 36''.
