Among the following , the plot that correctly represents the conductometric titration of 0.05 M `H_(2)SO_(4)` with 0.1 M `NH_(4)OH` is

A

B

C

D

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
B

On adding `NH_(4)OH`
(A) Initially the fast moving `H^(+)` ion get neutralized as `H_(2)O` and is replaced by slow moving `NH_(4)^(+)` ion upto neutralisation point.
(B) After neutralisation point, weak electrolyte `NH_(4)OH` is added gradually, which does not effect the conductance.
