Verify whether 2 and 0 are zeroes of the polynomial `x^2-2x`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

as given , `p(x) = x^2 - 2x`
`p(2) = 2^2 - 2(2)`
`=4-4=0`
`:.` 2 is a zero of p(x)
now, `p(0) = (0)^2 - 2(0)`
`=0-0=0`
`:.` 0 is also zero of p(x)
hence verified
