Balanoglossus (Phylum-Hemichordata) and Branchiostcma (= Amphioxus, Subphylum-Cephalochordata) both are bilaterally symmetrical and triploblastic animals. Both are marine animals. Balanoglossus does no possess a notochord whereas Branchiostoma being a chordate possesses notochord that persists throughtout life.
