Solve the equation: x^2 + x/sqrt2 + 1 =...

Solve the equation: `x^2 + x/sqrt2 + 1 =0`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Here the quadratic equation is
`x^2+x/(√2)+1=0`
This equation can also be written as `√2x^2+x+√2=0`
On comparing this equation with `ax^2 + bx + c = 0`,
we obtain = `√2`, = `1` = `√2`
