(i) an ace,
(ii) either red card or king .

Probability of red ` = (cancel(26))/(underset(2)cancel(52))= (1)/(3)`
Probability of king ` = (cancel(4))/(underset(13)cancel(52)) = (1)/(13)`
Probability of red king ` = (cancel (2))/(underset(26)cancel(52))= (1)/(26)`
(ii) Probability of red or king `=(1)/(2)+(1)/(13)-(1)/(26)=(13+2-1)/(26)=(overset(7)cancel(14))/(underset(13)cancel(26))=(7)/(13)`
