Let `E=` Selected individual is a female
`implies n(E)=2000`
Let `F=` selected individual is over 50 years old
`implies n(F)=1200`
and `EnnF=` selected individual is a female and is over 50 years
`impliesn(EnnF)=30% `or 2000
`=2000xx30/100`
`=600`
Now `P(EuuF)=P(E)+P(F)-P(EnnF)`
`=2000/6000+1200/6000-600/6000`
`=2600/6000=13/30`
