1) The amniotic sac is a bag of fluid inside a women's womb(uterus) where the unborn baby develops and grows.
2) The cavity within the amnion becomes fixed with fluid called amniotic fluid.
3) The embryo or unborn baby floats and moves in the amniotic fluid.
4) Amniotic sac and amniotic fluid give protection gainst minor machanical injury.
5) This fluid also provides a stable temperature to the foetus.
