Although Grignard reagent can be prepared in all the three solvents, `C_(2)H_(5)OC_(2)H_(5)` is the best because electrons on oxygen atom in `C_(6)H_(5)OCH_(3)` and N atom in `C_(6)H_(5)N(CH_(3))_(2)` are partially delocalised over the benzene ring and hence are less available than electrons on O in `C_(2)H_(5)OC_(2)H_(5)` for coordination.
