`NH_(3)` (a base) cannot be dried with conc. `H_(2)SO_(4)` (an acid ) or `P_(4)O_(10)` (an acidic oxide ). It cannot be even be dried with `CaCl_(2)` as it forms an addition complex compound with `CaCl_(2)`. Thus, `NH_(3)` case only be dried with CaO.
