(a) Radius of zinc atom `=((2.6 Ã…)/(2)) = 1.3 Ã… = 1.3 xx 10^(-10) m = 130 xx 10^(-12) m = 130` pm
(b) Length of the scale `=1.6 cm = 1.6 xx 10^(10)` pm
Diameter of zinc atom = 260 pm
`:.` No. of zinc atoms placed side by side `=((1.6 xx 10^(10)"pm"))/((260 "pm"))=6.154 xx 10^(7)`
