Although hydrogen bonding in HF is stronger than in water, yet water has much higher boiling point than HF. Explain.

In water, hydrogen bonding in `H_(2)O` molecules is more extensive (cage like structure ) as compared to HF molecules. Therefore, boiling point of water is higher than that of HF.
