(b) Actinoids are the elements present in the f-block of the peroidic table and have electronic configuaration : `5f^(1-14)6d^(0-1)7s^(2)`. They include fourteen elements. These are known as actinoids since they occupy position in the periodic table after actinium of d-block (Z=89). Most of them are radioactive in nature.
