The properties of substances is due to aligmet of molecules in it. When these substance ar eheated, molecules acquire kinetic energy. Some of the molecules get back to the closed chain arrangement (leading to zero resultant). So they lose their magnetic property. Hence the properties of paramagnetic and ferromagnetic substance are effected by heating.
