Consider a series L-C circuit as shopwn below

Given, E = 310 sin 314 t (volt)
Compairing it with general equation, `E = E_(0) sin omega t`
We get ,
`omega = 2pif = 314`
or `f = 314/2pi = 50Hz`
`therefore` Inductive reactance,
`X_(L) = omegaL = 2pif . L`
`= 314 xx 0.01 = 3.14 Omega`
Capacitvie reactance
`X_(C) = 1/omegaC = 1/(314 xx 25 xx 10^(-6)) = 127.3 Omega`
`therefore` Net reactance ,
`X = X_(C) - X_(L) = (127.3 - 3.14)Omega = 124.16 Omega`
