Current through an AC series L-C-R circuit is 2 A if operated at resonance frequency , and 1 A if operated at 50% less than resonant frequency . The current (in A) if the frequency is 100% more than the resonant frequency , is

The correct Answer is:
B

At resonance , `X_C` = `X_L`
If `omega` is reduced to half,
`X_C^(')` = 2`X_C` [as `X_C` `prop` 1 / `omega` ]
and `X_L^(')` = `X_L` / 2 [as `X_L` `prop` `omega` ]
If `omega` is made two times,
`X_C^(')` = `X_C` / 2 and `X_L^(')` = `2X_L`
i.e., value of Z will remain unchanged current should be 1 A.
