Two plane mirror are placed paralled to each other at a seperation of 6m as shown in figure. Find the (i) number of images of the object O, (ii) seperation between 5th image.

Given, mirrors are placed parallel to each other. Therefore
(i) Number of images formed=`oo`
(ii) Distance between 5th images, `I_(5)I'_(5)=2xx5(x+y)`
where,x=6-2=4m`rArr` y=2m
`rArr` `I_(5)I'_(5)`=10(4+2)=60m
