Calculate mean in an asymmetrical distribution if mode is 16 and median is 15.73.

Given : Mode (Z) = 16, Median (M) = 15.73
Z= 3M-`overline(2X)`
Substituting the values , we get
`16=3xx15.73-overline(2X)`
`16=47.19-overline(2X)`
`overline(2X)=47.17-16`
`overline (2X)=31.19`
`overline (X)=(31.19)/(2)=15.6`
Mean = 15.6.
