Find the equation of a line which cuts a...

Find the equation of a line which cuts an intercept of `3` and `-4` units from `X`-axis and `Y`-axis respectively.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Here `a=3`, `b=-4`
Equation of the line is
`(x)/(a)+(y)/(b)=1`
`implies (x)/(3)-(y)/(4)=1`
`implies 4x-3y=12`
