Find the length of intercepts cuts on ax...

Find the length of intercepts cuts on axes from the line `4x-5y=20`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`4x-5y=20`
`implies (4x)/(20)-(5y)/(20)=1`
`implies (x)/(5)+(y)/(-4)=1`
Therefore, `x` and `y` intercepts are `5` and `-4` respectively.
