Write three properties of paramagnetic s...

Write three properties of paramagnetic substance.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When placed in a non-uniform magnetic field , a piece of paramagnetic substance will tend to move from a weak field to a stronger field . i.e., they get weakly attracted to a magnet.
They get weakly magnetised when placed in an external magnetic field
Paramagnetic substances do no possess net magnetism .
