State and explain ohm's law

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Ohm.s law : When all the physical conditions surrounding the conductor remain unaltered , the electric current in a conductor is directly proportional to the potential differnce between its ends .
IF .I. is the current , .V . the p.d . between the ends of the conductor then I ` alpha ` V.
i.e, `I =KV ` Where .K. is known as electrical conductance .
`V =IR `
Where , ` R = (1 )/( K ) ` is known as the electrical resistance of the conductor .
