A nurse in a hospital , noted for a patient that heart was beating 75 times a minutes. Find its frequency and time period.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Number of oscialltions( beats) in 60s =75
Number of oscillation ( beats) in 1 s `= ( 75)/( 60)= 1.25`
`:. `Beat frequency of heart`=125 s^(-1) =1.25 Hz` Time period , `T=(1)/(v) =(1)/( 1.25) = 0.8 s`
