A triangle has sides 6,7, and 8. The line through its incenter parallel to the shortest side is drawn to meet the other two sides at P and Q. Then find the length of the segment PQ.

The distance between the two parallel lines is 1 unit. A point A is chosen to lie between the lines at a distance 'd' from one of them Triangle ABC is equilateral with B on one line and C on the other parallel line. The length of the side of the equilateral triangle is

Let ABC be a triangle in which the line joining the circumecentre and incentre is parallel to base BC of the triangle. Then answer the following questions : If angleA=60^(@) , then Delta ABC is

How many triangles can be formed by 15 points , in which 7 of them lie on one line and the remaining 8 on another parallel line ?

How many triangles can be formed by 15 points in which 7 of them lie on one line and the remaining 8 on another parallel line ?

Take three different colour sheets , place one over the other and draw a triangle on the top sheet. Cut the sheets to get triangles of different colour which are identical. Mark the vertices and the angles as shown. Place the interior angles angle1,angle2 and angle3 on a straight line, adjacent to each other, without leaving any gap. What can you say about the total measure of the three angles angle1,angle2 and angle3 ? Can you use the same figure to explain the ''Exterior angle property'' of a triangle ? If a side of a triangle is stretched, the exterior angle so formed is equal to the sum of the two remote interior angles.
