Explanation

Precision refers to the closeness of two or more measurements to each other. Precision refers to the resolution or the limit to which the quantity is measured.
Eg : If you weigh a given substance fine times and get 3.7 kg each time then your measurement is very precise.
Accuracy of a measurement is a measure of how close to the true value of the quantity. It indicates the relative freedom from errros.
Eg: For accuracy the true value of length of a cylinder is 7.287 cm. In one experiment, using a measuring instruments of resolution 0.1 cm, the measured value is found to be measuring instrument of greater resolution, say 0.01 cm, the length is found to be 7.17 cm. The first measurement is more accuate with lesser precision. Whereas, the second measurement is less accurate but it is more precise.
