If the units of force, energy and veloci...

If the units of force, energy and velocity are 20N, 200J and `5ms^(-1)`, find the unit of length, mass time.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`MLT^(-2)=20N" …(1)"`
`ML^(2)T^(-2)=200J" …(2)"`
`LT^(-1)=5ms^(-1)" …(3)"`
Dividing (2) by (1) ,
`L=(200)/(20)=10m`
Putting the value of L in (3)
`10T^(-1)=5 or T=2s`
From (1) `Mxx10xx(2)^(-2)=20 or M = 8kg`
